BANDO DI CONCORSO DEL  3° PREMIO INTERNAZIONALE
“CITTA’ DI CORCHIANO”
 
E’  INDETTO DAL COMUNE DI CORCHIANO  IN COLLABORAZIONE CON MEGA ART – WEB ART GALLERY,   LA PRO-LOCO E L’ASSOCIAZIONE “GRUPPO AMERINO”
IL 3° CONCORSO INTERNAZIONALE “CITTA’ DI CORCHIANO”
15 dicembre 2013 – 6 gennaio 2014

L’Amministrazione Comunale sempre molto attenta alla valorizzazione di Corchiano e del suo territorio che ha come suoi gioielli il suo borgo medievale, le tombe falische nonché, non per ultimo, il Monumento Naturale delle Forre  ha intrapreso diverse iniziative culturali per far conoscere la millenaria storia di questo piccolo comune della tuscia viterbese.        A tale proposito consigliamo di visitare il  sito  http://www.monumentinaturalidicorchiano.it/home.html
   Proprio in questo ambito, in collaborazione con l’associazione artistica  Mega Art, la Pro-Loco e l’Associazione Gruppo Amerino, il Comune ha indetto la terza edizione di questo prestigioso concorso d’arte a livello internazionale chiamando a sé gli artisti di qualsiasi nazionalità e tendenza artistica a partecipare a questo importante evento  con un’opera (per i pittori la dimensione massima orizzontale non deve superare i  cm 100 mentre per gli scultori la base non dovrà essere maggiore di 50 cm).
Ogni artista avrà la piena libertà espressiva.
E’ nostro vanto poter dire che questa iniziativa è esclusivamente a scopi culturali e non di lucro poiché le quote che gli artisti selezionati verseranno (40 euro e 35 per gli associati a Mega Art) verranno TOTALMENTE impiegati per la realizzazione dei premi.
 
COME PARTECIPARE:            
Al concorso di accede per SELEZIONE
Esso si  articola in due fasi:
1)     L’artista che intende partecipare alla selezione dovrà inviare una email  a premiocittacorchiano@libero.it contenente in allegato il file della Richiesta di Partecipazione che troverete sul sito www.megaart.it (primo banner in alto a sinistra)  Esso andrà  debitamente compilato unitamente alla  foto dell’opera con cui intende partecipare questa fase del  concorso sarà totalmente gratuita.
Ultimo giorno utile per la spedizione del file (o della busta tramite posta ordinaria) è l’ 8 dicembre 2013.
Una Commissione composta da due artisti, uno storico dell’arte, ed esponenti della cultura selezioneranno le opere che parteciperanno al concorso.
Il giudizio della Commissione è insindacabile ed inappellabile.
Ogni artista che avrà inviato il file dell’opera verrà contattato per  conoscere l’esito della selezione.

2)      L’Artista che verrà ammesso al concorso riceverà una email con cui verrà comunicato l’esito della selezione nonché, in allegato, riceverà il documento di adesione al premio, questo dovrà essere compilato e rispedirlo o come file allegato, o tramite posta ordinaria, allegando   copia della quota del versamento per parziale rimborso delle spese di segreteria che sarà di 40 euro (gli artisti associati a Mega Art verseranno 35 euro).
  Dovrà quindi spedire l’opera all’indirizzo che troverà sul documento di adesione che dovrà pervenire entro e non oltre il 13 dicembre 2013.
Le opere selezionate dovranno essere montate con una bacchetta di legno ed avere adeguata attacca glia  mentre  per le sculture queste dovranno essere spedita anche con la loro base di appoggio da terra.
La spedizione e la restituzione delle opere sarà a carico dell’artista, si raccomanda di inviarLe con imballi riutilizzabili per la restituzione delle medesime che avverrà tramite corriere postale.
Le opere partecipanti al concorso verranno esposte  dal 15 dicembre al 6 gennaio 2014 presso  la Sala Consiliare del Comune di Corchiano; l’inaugurazione avverrà il giorno 15 dicembre alle ore 10.30 mentre il giorno 6 gennaio, ore 17,30  sarà dedicato alla premiazione;  alla cerimonia saranno presenti personalità del mondo politico e della cultura.

Entro una settimana dall’inaugurazione si riunirà la Commissione giudicatrice per far si che gli artisti premiati possano essere presenti alla cerimonia di premiazione.
Le opere premiate con denaro rimarranno in possesso del Comune di  Corchiano ed entreranno a far parte della costituenda Pinacoteca.
Per questo evento saranno mobilitati i maggiori organi di informazione della televisione, del web  e della carta stampata.

PREMI IN PALIO
Una giuria composta da Pittori, Critici  ,Storici dell’arte  nonché personalità della cultura
selezioneranno le opere vincitrici assegnando i  seguenti premi:
1) 1000 euro
2)   750  euro
3)   500  euro     a seguire   targhe ed attestati di partecipazione.
L’organizzazione  nel caso di vendita tratterrà il 20%.
I vincitori del premio in denaro entreranno a far parte degli  artisti di  Mega Art  per un intero anno solare senza pagare alcuna tassa di iscrizione.  Tutte le opere degli artisti selezionati verranno pubblicate sul portale web di Mega Art www.megaart.it.
  Verrà realizzato un catalogo digitale in pdf che gli artisti potranno scaricare sul sito dell'associazione e  che verrà spedito a migliaia di gallerie d’arte e  case d’aste di tutto il mondo.
Sono previste convenzioni con bed & breakfast  per chi volesse soggiornare durante il periodo espositivo o per presenziare alla premiazione.
Pur avendo la massima attenzione nel gestire ed esporre le opere partecipanti, Mega Art, il  Comune di Corchiano, la Pro Loco e l’Associazione Gruppo Amerino  diniegano ogni responsabilità su eventuali furti o danneggiamenti che dovessero incorrere le stesse anche se causati dagli spedizionieri.

THE 3ND INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION “CITY 'OF CORCHIANO”

As part of a careful reassessment of its ancient history and of its charming land, the City of Corchiano has made a series of cultural events to promote and raise awareness of the beauty of the landscape and monuments, for more info visit http://www.monumentinaturalidicorchiano.it/home.html
In collaboration with the artistic association Mega Art, the Association “Gruppo Amerino”  and the Pro-Loco, the City has launched the 3nd edition of this prestigious art competition at the international level by gathering artists of any nationality and artistic tendency to participate in this important event with a work (for painters the maximum horizontal size must not exceed 100 cm while for  the sculptors, the base shall not be bigger than 50 cm).
Each artist will have full freedom of expression.
It 'a source of pride for us to say that this initiative is exclusively for cultural purposes and not for profit since the portion that the selected artists will pay (40 and 35 euro for members to Mega Art) will be TOTALLY employed for the realization of the prizes.
 
HOW TO PARTECIPATE:
The artist who intends to participate in the selection must send an email to premiocittacorchiano@libero.it containing the request to partecipazine selezone you will find on the site www.megaart.it (first banner at the top left). It will be duly completed together with the photo of the work with which it intends to participate in this stage of the competition will be totally free of charge.
The last date for sending the file (or the  envelope by mail) is 8th  December 2012.
A board of examiners  consisting of two artists, an art historian, and representatives of culture will select the works that will participate in the competition.
The jury's decision is final.
Each artist who will have sent the file of the work will be contacted to know the outcome of the selection.

2) Each artist admitted to the competition must send the certificate of participation  (that will be enclosed to the confirmation  e-mail of participation) via email and enclose a copy of the portion of the payment for partial reimbursement of the costs of the secretariat that will be 40 euro (artists associated with Mega Art will pay 35 euro).
 The artist will then send the work to the address found on the certificate of participation that must be received no later than 13th December 2012.
The selected works will be fitted with a wooden stick and have an adequate hook while  the sculptures will be shipped with their base from the ground.
The shipping and return of the works will be charged to the artist.
 We recommend to  send  them  with reusable packaging for their restitution that will be made by postal service..
The works submitted to the competition will be exhibited from December 15nd  to January 6th , 2013 at the Council Chamber of the City of Corchiano.
The inauguration will take place on December 15nd  at 10.30 p.m. while the 6th January will be dedicated to the ceremony, where political and cultural personalities will be present.
The money winning prize will remain in the possession of the City of Corchiano and will join the newly-formed Art Gallery.
For this event will be mobilized  the major television, web and print media.
 
PRIZES
A jury composed of painters, critics, art historians and cultural personalities
will select the winners by awarding the following prizes:
1) 1000 €
2) 750 €
3) 500 €  plates and certificates of participation will follow
The organization  will  retain the percentage of 20% on any sales.
The winners of the money prize will become part of the artists of Art Mega for a full calendar year without paying any fee www.megaart.it.
All the works selected of the artists  will be published  on the web portal of Mega Art.
Will compile a digital catalog in pdf that artists can download on the site www.megaart.it which will be sent to thousands of art galleries and auction houses around the world.
Even if Mega Art, the Municipality of Corchiano, Pro-Loco  and the Association “Gruppo Amerino” will have  the utmost care in handling and expose the participating works ( they refuse any responsibility  for any theft or damage that may occur even if caused by the shipper.,
